About Me:

Not just the founder of Burbz, I'm also a co-manager! I have been a real estate investor since 2010 and self-manage. Looking to help my fellow landlords as a co-manager. Over the years, I have learned a lot about real estate, investing maintenance and construction. I spent a decade in commercial construction and real estate development. This helps me identify the best solution for the tenants as well as the landlord before sending out just any handyman or contractor.

My Co-Management Style:

My objective is always treating the tenants with respect and encouraging good behavior. Prior to move-in, it is important to communicate my role and expectations. As well as how non-ideal situations will be handled (i.e. tenants break up, dog bites somebody, police called, etc.) For maintenance, I am comfortable self-performing or helping walk the tenants through the basic due diligence before sending out paid professionals.

My Maintenance Style:

Knowledgeable in residential remodeling and repairs. Before sending out a contractor or visiting myself, I will ask the tenant specific due diligence questions. If it persists, I prefer to examine in-person to better understand the issue. Sometimes it's an easy fix and not needed to call a specialist. There are common issues I know to send out a specialist: water heaters, clogs, HVAC, etc. Before doing any self-repairs, I inform the landlord and ask for permission, with an estimate.
